What started as a prank, likely looking to gain views on social media, turned into something even better when two South Carolina pranksters decided to cause a little chaos inside a local Dollar Tree store. There, they found a woman who wasn’t afraid to tell them like it was, and although she could be considered a lowkey Karen, to two guys didn’t want to brand her that in an official capacity. “Karen but not Karen” they captioned the video.
The TikTok clip starts off with the two guys heading into the South Carolina Dollar Tree. They exchange pleasantries with a woman leaving the store as they’re entering, and then the video cuts to them making a scene inside the store. One of the men, dressed in black shorts and a matching black t-shirt, can be seen lying on the floor of the establishment and screaming at the top of his lungs while shaking his arms and legs.
A woman is seen standing with her cart in the aisle next to him as he performs the attention-grabbing behavior. The video then cuts again. This time, another woman tells the men that they need to knock off their childish behavior.
South Carolina Pranksters Find Unlikely Friend In Dollar Tree Karen
“You need to stop,” she tells them politely. The guys play it off like they weren’t involved. “We heard that,” the man dressed in black says. “You did it,” she fires back hilariously and playfully. They keep playing dumb, but she doesn’t miss a beat. “I saw you,” she says through a smile.
She then asks if she’s being recorded, and they lie and tell her no. “Guys, screaming in the store needs to stop because the only people here are older than 50,” she explains. “Expect for you two,” she adds. “What are you twelve?”
That comment makes the jokesters bust out laughing, which seems to liven up the “Karen not Karen” even more. “Twelve and thirteen?” she continues to roast them. However, they don’t part on bad terms. In fact, they even give each other a fist bump before parting. “You guys are so mean,” a person wrote in the comment section after watching the funny video.
Later, another clip shows that the woman approached the pranksters again to ask them for help finding a product in the store. It seems that all’s well that ends well in this case. While the South Carolina guys may have been hunting for Karens, they seemed to find an unlikely friend in the process.
