A woman in Ohio ordered a meal for her and her children through DoorDash, but what she got instead was a lot of drama. The resident of the home thankfully had cameras to capture the entire situation after she had a delivery person and her boyfriend come to her home and attempt to not only steal the food that she paid them to deliver, but also her personal property from her patio.
In a TikTok video posted by @wesickandtired, the clip starts with a young woman holding her phone as her mother confronts the DoorDash driver, who had delivered their Taco Bell but then immediately stole it.
“What the [expletive] are you all doing?” the woman asks the Dasher and her companion. The female Dasher tries to talk her way out of the situation, revealing that she had set her food there for delivery. However, the resident points out that the delivery driver quickly took it right back, and even stole her cigarettes, which were lying outside on a nearby table.
Ohio DoorDasher Busted Stealing Food And Cigarettes
“Give me back my food,” she tells the delivery woman. “My camera’s right there. I just saw you steal,” she pushes the issue. However, the Dasher commits to her lie. “No, I did not,” she clearly states. The woman then asks who the man with the delivery driver is. “That’s my man,” she says as the guy wearing a mask over his face looks on.
The angry customer then rips the food bag out of the Dasher’s hand and demands her cigarettes back from the boyfriend. “You’re lucky you didn’t go to jail,” she tells them. “I didn’t do it,” the Dasher continues to protest.
Once the woman is back in her home, she reveals that she’s “scared” to even eat the food, claiming that they may have already been in the food before arriving at her house. She then reveals that she plans to call DoorDash about the matter.
The Internet Loved Her Sassy Response
Later in the clip, the footage of the DoorDash driver and her boyfriend pulling up to the home is revealed. The two get out of a black truck and walk up to the customer’s door. They place her food on the table outside of the door and take a photo to prove it was delivered. They immediately spot the cigarettes and decide to take those, before doing a double take and stealing the food as well, before the homeowner comes out to confront them.
“DoorDash need to be do background checks at this point,” one person commented on the video. “Caught red handed,” said another. “This can’t be real life,” a third person joked.
Unfortunately, DoorDash incidents are becoming a regular thing in Ohio and on the internet. Whether it’s the Dasher or the customer trying to scam the system, it doesn’t seem worth it to be the star of a viral internet video.
