A Michigan woman took things way too far while lodging her complaints at a Saginaw County McDonald’s. She was clearly unhappy about having to wait too long for her order. The customer wanted an apology, but instead, she may have walked out of the fast-food restaurant with legal troubles.
The TikTok video starts off with the woman standing at the counter, confronting a McDonald’s employee with brown hair and glasses. The worker is keeping her calm as the Michigan woman shares her unhappiness about the long wait. On the counter is a large cup of coffee with a lid on it.
Once the woman has verbally filed her complaints with the employee, the McDonald’s worker tells her to have a nice day, and that’s when things get heated, both literally and figuratively.
Michigan Woman Throws Hot Coffee During McDonald’s Meltdown
It seems that the customer was unhappy about not getting the apology she wanted. So as the employee started to walk away, she grabbed her coffee, took the lid off and threw the hot liquid at her.
“[Expletive] you, [expletive],” she yelled as she threw the coffee. “Catch that hot [expletive] coffee,” she added as she quickly walked out of the lobby and threw the door to leave.
In the comment section, the person who filmed the altercation revealed that the employee’s co-workers helped clean her up and that she didn’t seem to suffer any major injuries.
“The workers got her changed immediately, and I spoke with her after she was fine. The lady was not violent this kind of took everyone by surprise. I only recorded because she was hilarious. No one there knew she’d go to that extreme,” the video creator said.
Meanwhile, people who viewed the TikTok clip were stunned, and they had plenty to say about the aggressive encounter.
“She threw the coffee and quickly walked out meaning that she ain’t really about that life cause if she was she wouldn’t have left! Sad she couldn’t control her emotions,” one person wrote. “Hate when people get this mad over MCDONALDs like fast food workers deserve respect it’s not the deep,” another stated. “Trying to catch a felony at McDonald’s is Wild,” a third person chimed in. “Wrong on so many levels,” a fourth comment read.
Thankfully, this Michigan McDonald’s worker wasn’t seriously hurt. However, the woman who threw the coffee can’t explain this away by claiming she was having a bad day. She may be looking at some major legal trouble, and she had no one to blame but herself.
