The world of sports can be a truly amazing place. However, it can also be one of the most frustrating things on the planet. Although it is also important to remember that, at the end of the day, it’s only a game. Well, that’s not exactly what this Ohio man practiced in a recently posted TikTok video. In the clip, social media users see this man completely freak out over a game of adult slow-pitch softball. The video now has over 220K likes and 1.5 million views as it has officially reached viral status.
The TikTok begins with the game already underway, as the pitcher is making his move towards home plate. As the man pitching lobs the ball into the strike zone, the man playing the catcher position had a few words for him. Apparently, the Ohio man did not like the way his teammate was pitching the ball. He was even reportedly telling the batter not to swing. Things then take a turn for the worse when the yelling starts. The pitcher and catcher begin to argue over whether the last pitch was a ball or a strike. The catcher then, with a slight attitude, states that the ball was outside, and, therefore, not a strike.
TikTok Reacts to Ohio Man’s Softball Freak Out
The TikTok comment section then chimed in with all kinds of jokes, among other statements. “I need tickets to this,” joked one. “I gotta find a way to gamble on this,” said another. “What is this league?” one commenter wanted to know. Finally, one person said, “Dude is the only one in uniform,” regarding the man playing catcher.
After the man pitching would throw another ball, the Ohio man would lose his mind. He would then yell at his teammate, “Mark, why don’t you mind your Ps and Qs and pitch the ball!” Yet, it would appear that nobody was taking this man seriously. Even the cameraman couldn’t contain his laughter at the time.
As the video comes to a close, the man batting during the time finally makes contact with the ball. Unfortunately for him, it was a pop-up directly to the defender, and he was out. After the play was made, the Ohio man was very upset and could be seen throwing his glove as hard as he could. While it is okay to be sad about losing, acting like this is unacceptable. At the end of the day, it was a slow-pitch softball league, not Game 7 of the World Series, right?
