Fighting back tears, she took to TikTok to share what happened. At the start of her video, she explained that she’s completely blind and can’t see anything at all. She talked about how she sometimes needs to rely on her friends, but this time, that trust was shattered. You could hear the pain in her voice; she kept breaking down mid-sentence, struggling to hold back tears as she recounted the night she was left all alone.
The Las Vegas woman explained that she had gone out to a club with her friend. Everything was going well at first until she started dancing with a “notable” football player. Apparently, her friend didn’t have anyone to dance with, so she pushed her aside and started dancing with the man instead. Not wanting to make a scene, she simply began dancing with someone else.
After about an hour, she noticed her friend hadn’t spoken to her once. Because she didn’t want anyone to realize she was blind, she quietly began feeling her way around the club, trying to find her friend by touching the fabric of her dress, something she remembered by texture. But her friend was nowhere to be found.
You might hope her friend had just stepped away for a moment, maybe to the bathroom. Sadly, that wasn’t the case. When the woman checked her phone, turning up the volume so the voice feature could read her notifications, she heard a message that made her heart drop: “I’m sorry. Get home safe. I left.”
Who does that, leaving your blind, drunk friend alone in a crowded club? She said she immediately panicked, realizing she was completely on her own.
Thankfully, the man she had been dancing with turned out to be kind. She took out her cane and asked if he could help her downstairs to find an Uber, since her friend had been the one who drove them there. He stayed with her and waited until she safely got into her ride. “Scariest situation of my life because I gotta trust somebody I don’t know and I’m drunk,” she said, which is completely understandable. “Who leaves their blind friend on the dance floor alone?” she asked tearfully.

Sorry, I had to leave.” The woman said the conversation that followed didn’t go well, and rightfully so. When she confronted her friend about abandoning her, the excuse she got was infuriating: “You were in your own world, having your own fun, and I was miserable. So I just left.”
The blind woman was heartbroken. “How was I supposed to know you weren’t comfortable if I can’t see?” she said, adding that her friend could have simply talked to her instead of leaving her there.
The video became even more emotional near the end. Through tears, she said, “I would give anything, any [expletive] thing to get my eyesight back. Any [expletive] thing.” She believed her friend’s actions came from jealousy because she didn’t have anyone to talk to that night. But that still doesn’t make it okay.
