In yet another instance of an individual openly being racist in front of a camera, a woman in California, visibly unhinged, tried to force a couple at a gas station to apologize for reasons still unknown. When they refused, the woman threatened to call ICE, as, according to her, they didn’t “look legal.”
The video shared on Reddit showed the brief interaction between the woman and the couple at a California Chevron gas station. While holding two phones, the woman in question is shown recording the couple as they sit in their vehicles.
It appears something occurred between them, as the woman briefly rolled down her window and demanded an apology. She said, “When you apologize for what you did, I will move my car.” The couple, of course, were shocked and unsure of what the lady was referring to. When asked, the woman said that the man was harassing her.
“Just say sorry,” the woman demanded. However, the man’s girlfriend or wife told him not to apologize. That’s when the woman, who was acting oblivious while recording, looked straight into the camera. Once again, she rolled down her window and, in an act of blatant racism, told the man’s partner, “You don’t look legal. I’m gonna call ICE, baby.”
ICE Call Threat Unsuccessful, Reactions
After receiving the ICE threat, the couple appeared unfazed, telling her to do whatever she wanted. The racist California woman, however, started acting even more bizarrely. She began to laugh in silence, acting like “a little girl,” according to the lady recording her.
The man eventually got fed up with the woman and told her to “shut the hell up.” Apparently, that’s what the bigoted woman needed, as she smiled and then left the gas station, not before she chanted, “ICE, ICE, baby! ICE, ICE, go!“
Many users blasted the racist woman for her childish and unhinged behavior. One person said, “This lady’s life must be extra pathetic to want to spend time doing this.” Another one commented, “Ugh, I can’t begin to understand what compels people to act like that. It’s sick.” A third one added, “People with small, meaningless lives get their jollies by punching down on people.”
It seems like people are trying their hardest to show how horrible they are, and this lady is a prime example.
