She deserves jail

It’s hard to fathom why anyone would hate pets like dogs. While it’s natural to be afraid of them, intentionally causing harm is never acceptable. This is what an unhinged California woman did after she decided to scatter mothballs across her neighborhood. Her goal? She reportedly wanted to poison the pets there, especially the dogs. The daughter of the woman’s neighbor shared what happened on her TikTok account. Apparently, the unhinged woman got upset that one of the residents walked in front of her house with their dog. This is why she decided to do such a harmful act. Thankfully, the daughter shared that her mom called the police.

My mom’s neighbor was walking her dog yesterday and a lady on their street got mad because she walked infront of her house. So this miserable human covered the entire street with mothballs which are toxic to dogs. She admitted to the police she did it. SMH #pets#toxic#neighbors

The California woman didn’t even feel ashamed about what she did. Once the police arrived, she proudly admitted her actions. She was fined, and let’s hope this serves as a lesson to prevent it from happening again. The mom didn’t stop at calling the police, though. She also brought her son and they made sure to pick up all the mothballs they could find. Unfortunately, the heartless woman smashed some of the mothballs so they would be difficult to pick up. Who could do this to animals? Hopefully, if there were any remains, no pet would be harmed by it, or the residents would be able to clean the rest.

People Reacting to the Unhinged California Woman’s Actions

People were simply disturbed by what the California woman did. Anyone who would imagine their own pets being threatened like this would be furious as well. Before the daughter revealed that her mom called the authorities, many encouraged her to do that. “Call the police. That’s a public road,” one person wrote. Once people realized that the police had been contacted, they weren’t satisfied that the woman only got fined. “Fined? That’s it? Wow… the city needs to do better,” someone said. Others recommended what the kind neighbor should do next, as another person wrote, “I saw the police were contacted but also contact your Fish and Wildlife Commission. They don’t play.”

More comments came after the California woman because of what she did. Some were concerned about the remains of the mothballs which meant that pets in the neighborhood were still not safe. This made someone living there share, “Yes we called the police and I called for the city to clean up the moth balls because the cars smashed them into ground . She got fined.” This person later commented that the city did show up and cleaned the rest. Some of those who felt saddened by the situation decided to offer a different kind of advice. “Put sugar in their gas tank,” one TikTok user wrote. Maybe the fine will be enough, and more legally appropriate.
