You’d think causing a scene at an airport would be a one-way ticket to trouble. After all, airports don’t joke about their no-fly list. There is one Denver woman, though, who isn’t afraid of being on the list. Recently, she caused a scene at an airport in front of dozens of people. Apparently, she was kicked off a flight because it was overbooked, and that made her lose it. Everyone who saw the video at the time believed that this incident was enough to make the airport ban her. People even came up with a name for her, given how viral the first video went. The woman, whom people dubbed “white sweatpants lady”, didn’t learn from this situation.
Despite her outburst, the Denver woman was allowed on another flight. She sat on top of her seat, facing a passenger behind her, and began screaming at her. The woman called her names and told her to wait outside. It’s unclear what sparked the meltdown, but her behavior was definitely uncalled for. When the passenger stood up to face her, the woman started yelling “What? What?” repeatedly. The poor passenger probably wanted this situation to end, so she sat down in another seat. Despite this, the deranged woman kept yelling and claiming that she didn’t “give a [expletive].” What was bizarre, though, was that she said at the end of the video, “Talk to me about my father.” What does this have to do with anything?

Once people saw that the Denver woman had a meltdown on a plane following her first incident, they started wondering why she wasn’t banned. “Should be on the no fly list…,” one person wrote. Another person asked, “Why is she taking so many flights?Why are they still letting her fly?” Someone else had a similar thought as they asked in disbelief, “I noticed it was on the same airline too! Like that first incident didn’t get her on Southwest’s no fly list??!!” One Redditor even thought that she is acting this way because she never faced consequences. “spoken like someone who’s either never been punched in the face before, or hasn’t learned the lesson yet. Her body language is all open. Jaw out, leaning forward. Guard is open, she’s gonna do that to the wrong one and get lit up,” they wrote.
There were several good people who tried to understand why the Denver woman was acting like this. Many of them believed that she was struggling with her mental health. This is why one person wrote, “At the end of this one, her voice gets somewhat softer, and she says something about ‘talk to me about my father.’ My guess is that she just lost her dad, and maybe was flying to, and then from, his funeral or something. Still… since January, three people in my family- including my dad- have passed away, and I’ve never had a screaming meltdown on anyone.” Another person also said, “Nah, this woman is clearly not mentally well.” Hopefully, if she is actually in need of help, she would be able to receive it.
