Billionaires are some of the most famous and influential people on the planet. Their faces, names, and companies are recognized all over the world. Understandably, many of them prefer to keep their image polished and their reputation carefully managed. Still, not everyone is a fan. Some people admire their success, while others criticize them for their power, wealth, or influence on society. Love them or hate them, one thing is certain. Their faces are instantly recognizable. And that familiarity helped inspire one of the most bizarre and amusing art moments in recent memory. At a recent art show during Art Basel in Miami, Florida, visitors were greeted with something straight out of a science fiction dream.

Robot dogs walked around the exhibition floor wearing hyper-realistic silicone faces that looked like well-known billionaires and famous individuals. The piece was created by digital artist Mike Winkelmann, better known as Beeple, who is famous for breaking records in the NFT art world. This time, instead of creating another digital image, he decided to bring his style into the real world in a way that people would never forget.

The result was a group of four-legged robotic machines moving slowly across the floor with the faces of Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, Bill Gates, and others. In a video recorded by a TikToker visiting Miami, the art pieces could be seen wobbling around with funky music playing in the background. The entire experience looked both unsettling and hilarious at the same time.

One robot with the face of Mark Zuckerberg appeared content simply staring off into space with blank, glassy eyes. Meanwhile, the Elon Musk robot seemed to get extra attention as it was filmed standing on a small pedestal. The contrast only added to the surreal feeling of the scene.

It was not just the Miami art crowd who reacted to the installation. Once the video hit social media, people across the internet had plenty of opinions. Many users laughed at the strange sight. One person asked, “Taylor Swift where?” pointing out that even though she is also a billionaire, her face was not included in the artwork. Others admitted the robots were oddly cute in a creepy way.

However, not everyone found the piece entertaining. Some viewers felt uncomfortable seeing such realistic faces placed on robotic bodies. One commenter wrote that simply looking at it made them feel unsettled. Others added their own suggestions for improvement, including a joke about giving Elon Musk his old hairline back.

Another user asked if the robots had cameras on them. The TikToker responded that they do and claimed the robots take pictures of people standing in front of them and then eject a printed version from the back of the machine.

Some people also pointed out the irony of the situation. Art Basel in Miami is an extremely high-end art show attended by wealthy collectors, including members of the same elite class being referenced in the installation. One social media user commented that the irony was impossible to ignore, since the people who could afford to buy these types of artworks are often the same people being portrayed.
