There are various types of greed out in the world, from people who purchase so much excess to those who steal from others. While many people believe that this greed only stems from a specific group of people, that is hardly ever the case. Even well-off women with the ability to read are able to take things for their own gain, not expecting any sort of retaliation. A California woman faced this exact dilemma when she saw two women allegedly taking snacks from her front porch, despite there being a sign saying the food was for delivery drivers.

The above video was posted to the TikTok account @momoflight, which belongs to Breast Cancer survivor and mom Cindy Light. The footage in question is from the perspective of a doorbell camera facing toward a residential street, where we see a woman walking toward a table on the porch that has various snacks on it.

However, the snacks had a sign above them specifically saying that they were for delivery drivers. The caption reads, “Hadn’t even been an hour since I put out snacks for our delivery drivers when this lady shows up and takes whatever she wanted and proudly declares ‘ok we got snacks.” Sure enough, that’s exactly what happens. However, Cindy wasn’t playing when she wrote the note.

She quickly noticed that one of the women in the background with the alleged thief had a tennis racket in her bag. Assuming they were headed to the community tennis court, she decided to follow them. When she arrived, she saw the woman who had taken the snacks sitting on one of the benches on the court, eating one of the stolen items.

Instead of allowing the women to get away with taking the chips, she confronted them with the doorbell footage that was captured. The video then jumps to a clip of Cindy with a few dollars in her hand, stating that she got them after asking the women, who were part of a tennis event that was happening, if they were going to donate towards the snacks they had stolen.

Another video of the front doorbell camera then cuts into view, showing the woman who had taken the snacks dropping off a bag of what is assumed to be more food the next morning. Commentators were quick to praise Cindy for standing up for herself, with one commentator even saying, “How embarrassing for them! Good for you!“

Others were more focused on why the women would even do such a thing, saying, “Regardless of the fact they gave back, it’s the fact people have the audacity to literally steal. Those woman knew that wasn’t for them. They went on your property & stole. This just makes me so angry.” I can image those women will think twice before ever doing something like that again.
