The holiday season is an extremely busy time for almost everyone. However, despite that added stress, people around the globe should still treat one another with respect. Unfortunately, that was not the case for this Michigan CVS Karen, though. A recently posted TikTok video with around 26K views and 700 likes shows an altercation between an employee and a random customer. Social media users can’t get enough of this holiday altercation as the video strives for viral status.
The TikTok begins with the CVS Karen telling the employee to “Call 911 if you need.” While it’s sadly unknown what caused this original altercation, the Michigan woman is clearly very upset about something. She can also be heard telling the worker that she is “Not a good supervisor.” The two women then begin to argue over whether the customer will use the self-check-out or not, with the worker claiming, “I’m not helping you.” This really sets the older woman off as the altercation continues to heat up. The angry woman would finally make her threat of calling corporate, as many people do in these situations. Yet, she also gives the warning a stern warning, saying, “You will be sorry, missy.”
TikTok Users Flame This Michigan CVS Karen
Although the TikTok comment section was not a huge fan of this CVS Karen’s behavior. Many would leave behind comments in support of the employee as they bash the elderly woman relentlessly. “Not the you will be sorry, missy,” joked one. “Happy Holidays! Poor cashier,” pointed out one other. “Why do supervisors let the customers walk all over them?” asked one commenter. Finally, another asked, “Why blur the harasser and not the victim?” It seems that while many are not in support of the angry woman, they are also just as confused as the person recording.
The video then cuts off after more arguing and the Michigan Karen telling a different employee to teach his workers “Customer service.” Although that is not where the drama ends. The person recording would then post a follow-up Story Time TikTok, giving a little more context to this heated argument. The TikToker then explains that the issues stemmed from a Christmas ornament being sold at CVS. They also state that nobody was harmed, and everyone went about their lives following these events.
With that being said, it would seem even after causing a scene, the Michigan CVS Karen still didn’t get what she wanted. Behaving like this, especially in public, is just not okay. Hopefully, this elderly woman has learned a valuable lesson from all of this public embarrassment. As for the woman behind the counter, she handled the situation to the best of her ability, and that may be all anyone can ask for in this intense situation.
