A lot of Karens make it their mission to ruin any fun kids or teens have. They do this especially with their neighbors. Well, a Karen in Ohio is a great example of that. She didn’t like that one of the teens next door had his friends over and they were sledding down the street in the snow. To stop them from doing that, she called the police expecting that they would come and stop the teens. Much to the dismay of the Karen, the complete opposite happened. When the cops arrived they decided to join the fun and sled down the street with the boys.
The heartwarming video shared by one of the Ohio teens showed how the cops parked their car to try sledding themselves. Two of the cops then grabbed two sleds and did what the boys did too. One of them ended up falling off his sled, though, which made the cameraman laugh and repeat “officer down.” One of the boys also shared a picture in the comments that the group took with the officers. This is a memory they won’t forget. When it came to the Karen, she stormed inside her house once she saw what was happening. Maybe now she won’t bother the boys anymore.
People Reacting to the Ohio Cops Joining the Fun
With the bad reputation cops get, a lot of people were happy that the video of the Ohio cops showed another side of police officers. This is why one person wrote, “These the type of cops I like.” Another person then said, “I went on ride alongs with my mom (grave yard shift in Compton) and I’ve seen officers at the skate park, playing tag with young kids in the middle of the night with no parents in sight…and so on. Every policeman and fireman was once a kid and the media will never show what happens when they grow up to fulfill these jobs yanno.” Someone else believed that cops should have fined the Karen. “People need to start getting fines for calling the cops when there is no crime or disturbances happening at the scene,” they wrote.
Others shared their happiness about the situation in Ohio as one person wrote, “This is what life should be about, the community coming together and sharing fun memories during the tough times we are in. I bet it made everyone’s day to stop thinking of the stress we carry daily and just go play in the snow.” Another person shared how they would have reacted if they were the neighbor in this situation as they wrote, “I’d be the neighbor running to bake fresh cookies, make cocoa WITH whipped cream and sprinkles, throwing on the porch lights and turning on Christmas music and inviting everyone for a pop-up Christmas party‼‼” This is the kind of people we need.
