A woman in Dallas, Texas, perfectly embodies the spirit of Christmas by spoiling her neighbors with delicious treats. As a way to give back for their kindness, this lady set up a wonderful and delicious cookie and eggnog station right in her doorway. The reactions she got? Priceless.

The story was shared by TikTok user shelbybwaddy (Shelby). Before revealing her adorable Christmas plans, she gave some context. Apparently, her neighbors, an elderly couple, host a monthly gathering in their apartment, full of wine and treats. All the apartment floor residents are invited through handwritten letters. There are more than 20 doorsteps.

According to Shelby, her neighbors once lived in the suburbs, in a neighborhood where everyone was nice to each other, often organizing gatherings in heartwarming acts of neighborly love. After their kids moved out, they moved to the city, but their neighborly behavior never stopped, to everyone’s delight.

Obviously, the Texas woman, seeing how amazing her neighbors were to everyone else, decided to give back. After talking with her husband, all was set: they were about to make their Christmas way happier.

“My husband had the idea of doing a cookie and eggnog station,” Shelby explained. “Every morning we’re gonna bake cookies. We’re gonna put them fresh out on a little table outside of our door.”

The clip cuts to Shelby actually making a fresh batch of cookies in her oven and some more eggnog. Then, the Texas woman showed their cookie and eggnog station setup, which looks absolutely stunning and inviting. It even had a small sign explaining that cookies are baked every morning and, should her neighbors want cold eggnog, they can just knock on her door.

Neighbors React, The Internet Does Too

With the help of her doorbell camera, Shelby captured the moment her neighbors encountered the cookie and eggnog station. A young couple is shown shocked by the station, grabbing a cookie. Then, the elderly couple mentioned before also grabbed a cookie and loved the station.

Seeing the neighborly love in full display, many users got emotional. One said, “This made me cry.” Another one commented, “I just found my new favorite Christmas channel.” A third one added, “Beyond priceless & so incredibly sweet!“
