When a Karen lives in your neighborhood, you’re bound to have a bad time. Even on Christmas, Karens can’t just let people live and have a little fun. As one family says, they made a Karen unhappy when they decided to celebrate Christmas their way in New York. They got their family together for a party and had a little music while they let the good times roll. However, their night ended in a visit from the police.

June (@braceface.june) shared a TikTok video titled, “POV: You’re Hispanic and are celebrating Christmas early but Karen wasn’t happy..” She shows how her family got together and had some drinks while they played music in their home. However, a knock at the door changed things. When one of the relatives opened the door, they were greeted by a Karen and her presumed husband.

The Karen says to them about their music, “Turn it the [expletive] down before I call the police right now. Right now.” She then turns around and walks away while her husband says absolutely nothing to them. She proclaims that she doesn’t want to hear their music all night and tells them they’ve been through this same issue before. Her apparent issue is that the music is keeping her kids up. She then yells at them, “Shut the [expletive] up!” As she’s walking away, this family just laughs.

In the next clip, you see a police officer walking away from their house. It turns out, the Karen called the police on them after all. June says, “The cop was chill asf” so hopefully everything went well after that confrontation. Karens can’t just let people enjoy their lives.

One commenter said on June’s video, “Listen, I pay a 2k mortgage monthly, Ima make all the noise I want in MY home that I PAY FOR. If you hate noise go live in the outskirts where your neighbors are miles away.” Another person pointed out, “It’s not even about asking to put the music down, it’s the way she came up acting all high and mighty yelling at them like she’s their mother. Just ask politely.” She clearly came in looking for a confrontation and wasn’t happy with the fact that she didn’t get it. Of course, that means a Karen’s only option is to call the police to intervene.
