Apparently, mechanics sometimes have to deal with things far worse than fixing cars, and a Texas mechanic proved just how bad it can get when a customer brought in their vehicle. The real problem wasn’t what was wrong with the car mechanically, but what it looked like on the inside. Before even opening the front door, the mechanic warned viewers by writing on his video, “Rule number 1, don’t ever bring your vehicle in for repairs in this condition.” At that point, you might think it couldn’t be that bad. Unfortunately, it was even worse than anyone could imagine. The entire car was packed with trash from front to back, with garbage covering the floor and piled on both front seats. It even appeared that some kind of dry food had been left scattered throughout the mess.
The Texas mechanic continued to show just how bad the condition of the car really was. Thankfully, he was wearing a glove as he sifted through the trash covering the floor. Among the mess were discarded clothes and empty water bottles, and with so much garbage piled inside, it was nearly impossible to identify everything that had been thrown in there. Despite the disgusting state of the vehicle, the mechanic still did his job and checked to see what was wrong with it. According to him, the car didn’t need repairs at all—it simply needed fuel. At this point, it seems like the owner might need to be told the car needs a deep cleaning more than anything else.

A lot of people were shocked by the condition of the car the Texas mechanic filmed. Many viewers pointed out that they would have refused to work on it altogether, saying the mess alone would have been reason enough to turn the customer away. “Immediately turning them away. I will not expose my techs nor myself to a health hazard,” one person wrote. Another person agreed and said, “I would refuse service at all costs.” Someone else asked, “how [expletive] do ppl willingly live like this?” There was one TikTok user who looked at the situation differently. “Sometimes people are down in luck and extremely depressed. As auto tech I’ll work on your car and clean as posible,” they wrote. Not many would have done that.
As more comments dragged the owner of the car, there were some good people who agreed that the owner shouldn’t be attacked like this. “I wish we had a society that helped ppl. Bc this person is probably suffering from depression. If we could get them help they would have a better quality of life,” one person wrote. Aside from the positive comments, some people said they would never let their car reach this state. “I feel gross with like 1 food bag and 2 cups in my car. Howww,” someone said. Another person wrote, “Here i was, beating myself up because the floor mats need to be vacuumed.” Hopefully, if the car owner needed help, they would be able to get it.
