Grocery shopping isn’t for everyone. Sometimes it brings out the worst in shoppers. However, one Maryland woman completely crossed the line when she verbally attacked a fellow shopper inside a grocery store, and things got very ugly. Not only was she rude and aggressive with her words and actions, but her attack seemed to be based on the fact that she assumed the man was gay and didn’t approve of his lifestyle.
The TikTok video posted by the Maryland man, starts off directly inside the drama. A Black woman wearing leggings and a black leather jacket is berating the man for being gay and claiming that she doesn’t like his choice in clothing.
“Boy, get outta here with your gay [expletive],” she says as she pushes his cart in a threatening way. While she’s yelling and spewing hate, the man is asking her to stop, telling her to back off, and filming the entire interaction. “Back up. I don’t like you,” he says while also trying to stand his ground.

“I don’t know you either,” she fires back, repeating yelling, “What’s up? What’s up, gay boy?” She then began to rant about how he needed to “cover up” and claimed that she was “sick of this gay [expletive].”
Eventually, a friend of the rude woman comes up and tries to calm the tension. She asks the man recording to move on, but since he was the one being wronged, he didn’t feel the need to leave the aisle. Instead, he continued to film the unhinged woman’s rant.
It seems that the woman took issue with the man’s clothing. However, it was later revealed that he was simply wearing a pair of sweatpants and a gray hoodie. Nothing out of the ordinary, nothing scandalous. Even so, attacking someone for their sexual orientation or clothing is wild.
“Just got hate crimed in the grocery store. TikTok do your thing. Please help me find her,” he captioned the shocking video. Of course, the internet was stunned by the woman’s shocking behavior and heated words.
“Why are we fighting in the cereal aisle?” one person asked in the comment section. “I’ll just say this …. Most of us would’ve understood if you handled this another way,” another person wrote. “I’ll never understand how a total stranger being gay affects anyone else life,” a third person added. “I would’ve maced her. Empty the whole can,” a fourth comment read.
It’s terrible that a trip to the grocery store turned into so much drama and hate for this Maryland man. Perhaps, TikTok will find her, and she’ll get some karmic justice.
