However, this Florida mom has seemingly had enough of her daughter’s bad behavior, as she makes her face the consequences of her actions on Christmas morning. TikTok is in an uproar following this viral clip, with around 2K likes and 200K views, as this mother made her child watch everyone else open their holiday gifts on Christmas morning.
The TikTok video starts with the little girl sitting on her family’s couch as her siblings begin ripping into their presents. However, one thing is missing: this poor little girl has had nothing left under the tree to open. Amid the hustle and bustle of the holiday, the little Florida girl looks extremely sad and confused. As her family continues passing out gifts, it seems to set in that she won’t be getting any. This was apparently the child’s punishment for acting out in the months leading up to the holiday season.
Florida Mom Enrages TikTok Over Holiday Prank On Daughter
Although it would not sit well with social media users, as many would flood the TikTok’s comment section to rip the Florida mother and her decision-making. “This is wrong on so many levels,” wrote one. “As a sibling, I would never accept gifts while my sister sat there with nothing,” stated another. “Parents are a kid’s first bully,” pointed out one more. Finally, one other said, “This is a parenting issue. Humiliation is never the answer.” Rightfully so, most TikTok users are not happy about how the parents handled this situation and are really letting them have it online.
As the situation continues, the child’s siblings open their gifts, while the caption states that the girl “Doesn’t believe in Santa anymore.” However, the family would write a fake note from the big man himself explaining why the little girl did not receive any gifts from Santa Claus. The little girl, who is obviously upset and confused about what’s happening, then rips up the note as her holiday seems to be ruined.
Finally, in a separate TikTok video, the Florida family lets the little girl open her presents, saying that Santa “Changed his mind” and came back to drop them off. The child then promises to write a letter to Santa to apologize for acting out. However, while this may have taught her a valuable lesson, it may not have been the best way to go about it. At the end of the day, the little girl got her presents and maybe even learned a thing or two.
