Minnesota ICE Agent Gets Triggered By Protestors In a Parking Lot, ‘I Love My Job, I Can’t Believe I Get Paid For This, I’d Do This For Free’

Rather than fighting fire with fire, many protestors are learning to outsmart ICE agents. In Minnesota, violence is an epidemic. Agents are running rampant with no rules, no laws, and no consequences. When they’re not going door-to-door illegally questioning citizens, they’re stalking businesses and parking lots. And now, they’re learning the American public is no longer afraid of them. At times, they even have the upper hand.

“I don’t care what they told you. If you guys get in my way, I will arrest you,” one ICE agent can be seen telling a bystander. As the onlookers continue recording, one of them says, “Sir, we’re just observing, please calm down.” At this moment, the agent’s attitude toward innocent people is evident. One is defensive and aggressive, while the other is cool and collected.

“You had anger issues as a kid, didn’t you?” The bystander responsible for recording says to the agent. “Were your parents present? You should be ashamed of yourself, man.” The agent’s body language reveals anything but confidence. Instead, he turns his back, pretending not hear the onlookers. As another one chimes in, saying, “He is,” the agent finally turns around.

“I love my job,” he says. “I can’t believe I get paid for this. I’d do this for free.” At this point, another bystander takes over the conversation. “Really? I get $200k. I’m a physician assistant,” she says. The ICE agent asks how long she attended school for, to which she replies, “Over seven years.” The agent responds, “I went to high school. I make $210k.”

A Turning Point

At this point, the conversation turns in favor of the bystanders. “People regard me as someone valuable in society,” the physician assistant responds. “What about you?” At this, the agent is silenced.

People in the video’s comments are going wild over the clapback. “‘I love my job,’ ‘I’d do this for free.’ He says from behind a mask,” one Reddit user says. “This bleep was quick with the responses until she said, ‘People regard me in society, what about you?'” Another comments.

A third boldly says, “The fact that he said he’d do this for free shows exactly what that high school education got him: racism and bigotry based on unfounded assumptions and zero logic. Saddest part of it all: they have been here all along. They’ve just been enabled to set their hatred free.”
