A TikToker decided to step inside a Florida restaurant run by people with disabilities in Fort Lauderdale. He was met with excitement and warmth, and thousands are anxious to visit the establishment themselves.
The TikToker, Benjamin, whose username is bengtalks, arrived at The Friendship Grill, a place he had previously visited. Immediately, two employees welcomed him in a delightful and lovely manner, immediately recognizing him.
“Oh my gosh! Welcome back sir Benjamin, to The Friendship Grill! How are you?” one of the employees asked.
Benjamin, moved, said he was doing great and asked the employee the same. He said, “We’re fine, thank you. But we are better now that you are here.”
The lovely Florida cashier remembered Benjamin’s last order, a falafel and a Diet Coke. This time around, he highly recommended that he order a shawarma. As a cherry on top, he told Benjamin that his order was “on the house.”
The TikToker interacted with the rest of the employees, and one of them even asked him if he could join him at his table for lunch. Benjamin agreed, and the cashier, Spencer, also joined them.
A female employee, Adalie, then appeared and interacted with Benjamin. She revealed that she had recently been hired, and did so with a huge smile on her face, melting people’s hearts everywhere.
After previously discussing Benjamin’s first visit, which was also made into a viral video, the food was ready. Wings and fries arrived at the table, along with the TikToker’s shawarma, which was delicious.
Clip Goes Viral, Internet Loves It
The heartwarming visit was met with instant virality. In less than 24 hours, close to 5 million people watched the video and met The Friendship Grill employees, with thousands commenting and hundreds of thousands liking the clip. The vast majority couldn’t wait to visit the Florida establishment themselves.
“The friendship grill needs a TikTok page to spread this amazing business,” one user commented. Another one said, “Can I come with you, Sir Benjamin?” A third added, “They are so nice, we made the right man famous!“
By the looks of it, The Friendship Grill will get an influx of new customers, all of which expecting the amazing food and, of course, the wholesome time.
