A family in California is currently under fire after their neighbor exposed how their dog is kept in a side yard all day, barking nonstop, yearning for love and attention. All the while, the dog’s owners live a life of luxury in a big house with “brand-new” vehicles and a jet ski.
The dog’s heartbreaking living conditions were shared on TikTok by user itmeham (Ham). She shared how her neighbors live in a five-bedroom home, have brand-new vehicles, a jet ski, and even a boat. However, their spending habits fail to reflect how the dog lives.
Ham recorded the California dog living in a small side yard, a place where he is “all the time.” The woman detailed that she hears him barking all day and crying all night, adding that the side yard has poop all over the place.
“He technically has water in the shelters, so animal services isn’t really gonna do anything,” she said.
Heartbreakingly, Ham revealed that the dog got very happy when she acknowledged him, wagging his tail in excitement. She added, “I feel so bad for this poor dog. I want to knock on their door and see if they’ll just let me take him because they’re not giving him a good life.”
Many users reacted, with one of them saying, “Call animal control,” a sentiment shared by the majority. Others, meanwhile, asked her to take the dog herself.

In a follow-up video, the California woman revealed that no one likes her neighbors, as they have called the police on people having parties and take all the parking for themselves. Ham said that she contacted animal control in the hopes of making sure that the dog is safe.
Finally, in a third video, Ham found out that there were actually two dogs living in the side yard. She left a note on her neighbors’ door, offering to walk the dogs and even introduce them to her own dog so they can play.

Hopefully, Ham will be able to walk and play with the dogs. After all, they are just innocent creatures, anxious to be loved.
