Recently, there has been a lot of controversy surrounding ICE, especially since they just arrested a five-year-old boy in Minnesota. This sparked widespread outrage, with many people expressing how disturbing they felt it was to see children being arrested. Because of this backlash, JD Vance spoke and claimed that the agents didn’t apprehend the boy. He claimed that the boy’s father fled, and that agents detained the child to prevent him from freezing to death. However, this explanation led many to believe Vance was attempting to defend ICE and downplay concerns about the agency detaining children. Critics have since pointed out that his claim does not fully hold up under scrutiny. Aside from the fact that the boy remains in DHS custody along with his father, ICE agents in Minnesota had recently detained another child in a separate incident.
A video shared on Reddit was filmed by an ICE observer who showed the recent arrest of yet another kid in Minnesota. In the video, you could clearly see the poor boy running as an ICE agent chased him. During this, the camerawoman was using a whistle to alert the neighborhood. The woman kept yelling “stop” before she showed how the agent tackled the boy and was on top of him. She asked, “What is your name?” as another woman at the scene asked the agent if he had a warrant. Instead of answering, the heartless agent tried to make the boy get up. The poor kid started speaking in what was probably Spanish and he had a tone that could only be described as a pleading one. The observers then kept whistling as the boy lay on the ground looking helpless.
When the Minnesota ICE agent started getting out handcuffs to put on the boy, one of the women there pointed out in disbelief how he was doing this to a child. Other ICE agents then arrived and they started leading the kid while handcuffed to one of their vehicles. The observers couldn’t do anything except keep whistling as the agents drove away kidnapping the boy. At the end of the video, the camerawoman stood next to one of the ICE vehicles still at the scene. She could be heard spitting on the car before saying, “[expletive] you guys.” Who knows what will happen next to the poor boy?
People Reacting to the Minnesota ICE Agents Kidnapping a Child
People were absolutely furious at the fact that ICE arrested another child in Minnesota. Since this is heartless, one person wrote, “I hope for the absolute worst for all ICE agents.” This made another person reply, “I wouldn’t even call them that. These pieces of scum are just reincarnated Neo Nazi SS officers. As it’s been said, many of them are J6 criminals, so of course thjs is exactly what we would expect.” Someone else pointed out the hypocrisy of such an arrest, as they said, “He must be one of those high profile cartel members they’re talking about.” One person then added, “I was just thinking that they must be 100% only going after people will no gang connections. These [expletive] would never try to roll up on someone who’s actually criminal. Their going after the most powerless.”
More people expressed their outrage at the video coming from Minnesota. One person believed that the agents were evil as they said, “To be capable of that means you can’t be rehabilitated.” This made others discuss whom they would vote for in future elections. “If we have elections, and only if, I’m only voting for people who are going to prosecute these [expletive],” someone said. Another person replied, “This is literally the only thing I am judging candidates on at this point.” One Redditor also wished to see ICE agents being held accountable as they said, “I hope the trials of all of these Gestapo traitors are televised.” One Neitzen then expressed how terrible this was. “A child. With no shoes. Not the 1st child being kidnapped I’ve seen on internet today. What. The. [Expletive]. Is going on???” they asked. Altogether, it’s an unfortunate and troubling situation.
