A woman in San Antonio, Texas, decided to go out on vacation, entrusting her home to a dog sitter. Then, while enjoying her time away from home, she discovered strangers living in her house after checking her dog camera.
In a recently shared TikTok, Morgan Frankie shared camera footage of two men and two women inside her home. One of the men is sitting comfortably on the couch, while the other walks around the living room. Meanwhile, two women were sitting on another couch, chatting, covered in a blanket. All the while, Morgan’s dogs were on the couch with the man.
According to Morgan, she got a doorbell notification at around 6 a.m. that people were walking around her home. Upon checking the footage, she noticed that the aforementioned strangers had entered her home at around 2:45 a.m.
In a previous clip, the Texas woman explained that her dog sitter, one of the women, had been previously told that there were cameras inside the home. Morgan even told her she could unplug them, but she ended up leaving them on.
Dog Sitter Fired, Reactions
The worst ocurred later, as, according to Morgan, her dog sitter gave the strangers a tour of her house. They ended up entering private areas of the house, including Morgan’s office and bedroom. In total, they spent 10 minutes “touring” the house, to Morgan’s shock.
The Texas woman, after finding out about this severe violation of her privacy, immediately fired her dog sitter.
Many users were left aghast by the dog sitter’s actions, calling them inexcusable. Some, for some reason, defended the dog sitter, saying that nothing she did was wrong because she would otherwise be bored staying by herself with the dogs.
“This is how people end up being squatters and takeover your home,” one user commented. Another one said, “This is crazy weird. What dog sitter thinks this is okay?” A third one wrote, “I’m a pet sitter and a lot of people tell me feel free to bring people over, but I still never do bc that’s weirdddddd.”
Now that she is out of a job, maybe the dog sitter will think twice before bringing strangers over to a house that isn’t hers. With that many people defending her, though, she might not learn the lesson after all.
