Shocked Illinois Woman Gives Inside Look at Disgusting Incel Forum: ‘Who Do You Think Are in ICE’

That’s so terrifying

For those unaware of who incels are, they’re typically misogynists who genuinely believe they have no faults and expect everyone to understand and respect them. Well, it’s a little bit more serious and complex than that, but that is what they are generally understood to be, specifically online. In Chicago, Illinois, a woman discovered a forum that wasn’t just full of incels, but had them all encouraging one another.

If it wasn’t terrifying enough that we are currently in a political state where incels are more and more likely to come out of the woodwork, it seems as though there is an entire website where they can talk about whatever they’d like, fueling each other’s fires.

Online hate turns into REAL-WORLD v!olence. These forums are so dangerous and need to be banned. 😭 #humanrights #leftist #education #intersectionalfeminism #antiracism

The above video was posted to the TikTok account @kylie.brewer, which is owned by a woman named Kylie who typically posts about the political climate, having been raised MAGA, but changed to the left. This particular video isn’t much different from her others, but instead of focusing on conservatives of the right-wing media, it goes into detail about a shocking website she found.

She specifically goes to the website Incel.is, which calls itself, “a forum for involuntary celibates: people who lack a significant other. Are you lonely and wish you had someone in your life? You’re not alone! Join our forum and talk to people just like you.”

While that description can easily sound as though the site isn’t that bad, there are over 35,000 members and over 20 million posts that include some of the worst information you could think of. What’s even worse is that there have been some cases of incel violence that have been directly linked back to the site, according to Kylie.

Commenters were in as much shock as Kylie was, though another majority weren’t all that surprised, with one of the top comments saying, “Who do you think are in ICE 🤷‍♀️.” While many other commenters proposed that the content simply be taken down by the website that hosts it, one person reminded us all that it’s a little more difficult than that, saying, “Coming from an IT professional, it’s very hard to just have stuff like this taken down. In many cases, these websites are hosted in other countries where laws are a lot more lax, and if they ever do manage to be taken down, a new one will pop up in less than a day.”

Hopefully, this type of content doesn’t become so much more mainstream than it already has, and more people shine a light on the kind of dangers websites like these hold over young men around the country.
