Famous Illinois MAGA influencer Megyn Kelly recently claimed that Bad Bunny’s performance during the Super Bowl was a “middle finger” to America, which made her become the target of mockery online. Racial discussions in America in 2026 are often heated, but her lack of arguments has made it easy for internet users to mock her.
In a viral exchange with Piers Morgan, Megyn Kelly complained that Bad Bunny performed his show in Spanish. “Who gives a damn that we have 40 million Spanish speakers in the United States,” she said, when the other 310 million do not. According to her, the Super Bowl was supposed to be “a unifying event,” and Americans don’t need an “ICE-hater” featured in prime-time entertainment.
Responding to her complaints about using Spanish in the show, Morgan promptly asked Kelly which is the official national language of the United States. This made her visibly distressed as she tried to argue that it’s English, even though the country has no official language. She then accused Morgan’s home country, Great Britain, of “ceding its culture to Radical Muslims,” and then claimed that Americans should defend the Super Bowl, a “quintessential American event.”
This was not the first time Megyn Kelly complained about Bad Bunny, though. Back in October, she said that Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl would be a “middle finger to all of MAGA” and that the “NFL should be ashamed” of picking him for the show.
Internet Mocks Megyn Kelly’s Racist Opinions
As soon as the video became viral, internet users started criticising Megyn Kelly and mocking her behavior: “you can see the hate and racism fomenting and secreting at the mouth.” Others focused on how mad she became during the exchange, saying, “I thought her head was gonna explode.”
Another point that caught some people’s attention was Kelly’s statement that “we don’t want a black national anthem.” For some, this made it clear that she wants America to be fully white.
Some folks even highlighted how weird it was that the Illinois MAGA journalist thought it was somehow morally wrong to sing in other languages: “Imagine not being able to enjoy music and dancing because you don’t understand the lyrics.” Others commented on how ironic it was that some MAGA supporters criticize bands like Rage Against the Machine for speaking out against Trump, even though these bands sing in English and their lyrics and ideology are fairly easy to understand.
