We all saw a glimpse at the sprawling map of Crimson Desert, and quickly realized that it would surpass that of other famous open-world games we’ve played. However, many of you aren’t prepared for just how vast it is. Fortunately, there are several fast travel points in Crimson Desert. The downside is that you won’t be able to unlock them so easily, as some of them require you to explore every nook and cranny of an area, and even complete a couple of challenging quests.
How To Find Fast Travel Points in Crimson Desert

Contrary to other open-world games, you won’t be able to teleport anywhere you want or to a major city or even your camp from the get-go. You actually have to work hard to unlock these fast travel points in Crimson Desert, and even then, they will be far from one another, making each one you encounter extremely valuable when exploring Pywell.
So far, there are two ways to unlock them: by completing puzzles and finding them on the map.
For both of these, you’ll need to use your sword shine. Besides blinding enemies and exposing their weak points, using this feature while exploring the map will sometimes show a glint at a distance. This glint will either lead you to a puzzle or a fast travel point. So, a rule of thumb is always ride around with your sword unsheathed and shine it at a high spot to find the next glint.
In terms of the actual fast travel points, activating them isn’t hard, as you only need to step on them. There are a few exceptions, however, as some of them require you to build them or clear an objective before the fast travel point becomes available.
In the case of puzzles, all you need to do is complete them, and once you grab the Abyss Artifact, a fast travel point will become available to you. Keep in mind that you will always appear at the location where you grabbed the Abyss Artifact, so if that was inside a cave, that’s where you’ll appear.
The same rules apply to the Abyss, but here, fast travel points only appear at the beginning of an unlocked island. Still, having these points in this realm is extremely helpful, as you can then dive from the Abyss and into Pywell to reach faraway locations.
To wrap it up, just remember to make use of your sword shine skill when looking for fast travel points in Crimson Desert. Even if the glint doesn’t take you to one, chances are you’ll eventually find one if you keep looking.
