‘It’s Un-Christian to Hate Pedophiles,’ MAGA Influencer Slammed in Heated Debate in California College for Controversial Statement

When did Jesus say that?

Some people will go far to defend their ideology, such as one proud man from California who even went as far as to vocally support pedophiles to stay loyal to his MAGA beliefs. Sadly, he announced this statement to a rather large audience, and he has since drawn some concerned looks both online and offline, especially since he hung out on a college campus.

The debate took place around early March at Cerritos College in Norwalk, California. According to eyewitness accounts, the Cerritos College Turning Point USA club (TPUSA) invited some MAGA podcasters and influencers onto the campus to advocate for their beliefs and also challenge students in public debates.

The video catches a student arguing against the MAGA influencers, asking whether “You’re gonna work with pedophiles,” something the latter answered with, “Yeah, I’ll work with pedophiles if it ends abortion!” Because of the retort, the crowd went into a jeering frenzy, with them shouting “Oh [expletive] no!” Cerritos College’s YDSA club (Young Democratic Socialists of America) even paraphrased one of the MAGA influencers’ statements when they claimed, “It’s un-Christian to hate pedophiles.”

YDSA club went on to allege that TPUSA in Cerritos College “has a track record of harassing students and causing problems,” and even questions the school administration why MAGA influencers were allowed on the campus. TPUSA club and the MAGA influencers it invited have since drawn outrage, and they were kicked off the campus, eventually.

Students and People Online Have Called Out the MAGA Influencer

It’s not clear whether the TPUSA club’s activities will bring back influencers or other conservative speakers to Cerritos College, but despite getting kicked out, plenty of people expressed concern for the students. One Instagram commenter even claimed, “He told on himself 😭😭” while another accused them, “yeah cause they want to create more children to traffic and abuse.”

The video has also gone viral on other platforms, such as Reddit, where the MAGA influencers were also mocked. One commenter stated, “Conservatives are always so weirdly proud to admit they will support terrible shit just to get their way.” Some were not shocked at the statements, claiming they’re used to certain conservatives or MAGA believers harboring such views.

In any case, it’s not the first time MAGA or conservative activists have been given a platform for speech on school grounds. The late Charlie Kirk notably held his speeches and debates in US universities before his untimely demise last year. It appears for many critics, it’s a worrying trend, “People don’t understand the long-term damage that Charlie Kirk caused in youth education.”
