Texas FedEx Worker Caught Brutally Tossing $20k Packages As Warehouse Video Goes Viral: ‘Just Pure Unchecked Anger At Life’

FedEx is going to want to see this.

Security camera footage from a Texas warehouse loading dock shows a FedEx worker in a dark shirt repeatedly dropping, slamming, and kicking boxes containing approximately $20,000 worth of Lutron equipment on May 26, 2026, while a second worker handles deliveries nearby.

Warehouse security cameras are there for moments just like this, and on May 26 at 4:27 PM, a loading dock in Texas caught a scene that got everyone talking. The video lasted about 25 seconds, and user Linus Ekenstam posted the video on X after his friend Jeremy sent it to him. Notably, Jeremy is the guy who was supposed to get those packages.

My buddy Jeremy just sent me this. @FedEx your guys just harassed $20.000 worth of equipment just like that.

You see two FedEx workers unloading boxes. One of them is careful, guiding a dolly, just doing his job. The other, however, drops boxes onto concrete, throws one against a wall, shoves, kicks, and piles them up like they have done something to upset him.

And these aren’t random boxes. They are packed with Lutron and Interlam smart home equipment, worth somewhere around $20,000. Linus tagged FedEx in his post, and it quickly went viral.

The contrast between the two workers was obvious, and the user in the comments section noticed right away. One guy handled his job fine; the other treated the dock like a punching bag. That difference matters. Why? Because it kills the “system’s overworked” excuse. Both workers had the same job, same conditions, same time, but only one acted out.

This isn’t even the first time a FedEx worker in Texas has made headlines for mishandling packages. Just earlier this year, another video showed a driver chucking boxes from his truck while a customer stood there filming. People called FedEx out, but the bigger problem goes way deeper.

FedEx Ground mostly uses contractors, so lots of drivers and handlers aren’t actual FedEx employees. They work for outside companies hired by FedEx, and critics argue that makes it tougher to keep everyone accountable or set clear standards.

FedEx hasn’t said anything about this video yet. Jeremy has filed a claim for the damage, and the footage is now evidence.

Internet Reacts To Texas FedEx Worker Throwing $20,000 Worth of Packages

The comments skewed in one direction. “Absolutely no reason to hurl this box at the wall. Just pure unchecked anger at life,” one person wrote. The employment prognosis was equally direct: “If this is real, no one has ever been more fired.”

Some tried to explain the behavior rather than condemn it. “From what it looks like, those FedEx employees are probably stressed out on not receiving enough income – when they deliver to businesses, they’re probably envious of what it’s worth and wish they had it like that,” one comment read. Another was less sympathetic: “Why is he enraged? Because he has to work for a living?”

The practical takeaway surfaced quickly. “This is why I’ve started doing insured delivery and forcing them to get a signature,” one person wrote. One comment introduced the only funny angle in an otherwise grim thread: “Congratulations, you now have thrice the number of parts you ordered for free.”

And one person asked a sarcastic question: “What everyone should be asking is what the boxes said to them before the clip starts.”

Texas moves a ton of FedEx deliveries every day. Because contractors handle most of the work, FedEx doesn’t have much control over who is actually moving the boxes or how they do it.

Clips like this pop up so often online that FedEx’s reputation for package handling has become a joke. That $20,000 worth of Lutron gear survived manufacturing, packaging, and transit. It got all the way to a Texas warehouse before crossing paths with the wrong guy at 4:27 on a Monday.
