During the EA Conference, there was no shortage of Star Wars news. But while there was a focus on Star Wars Battlefront II, there was also a bit of a surprise waiting for franchise fans. Right ahead of the main attraction of the license, Vince Zampella of Respawn revealed their upcoming game in the franchise – Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order.

EA Star Wars

According to him, the game takes place in “a dark period” between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Obviously, the Jedi were being hunted throughout this period, as per the lore of the series. There was every indication that the player would take the role of a Jedi, evading the sith. This means there’s a very good chance of seeing Vader himself as an adversary in the game. Zampella was otherwise not particularly forthcoming with details. However, he did reveal that the game is slated for a Holiday 2019 release date.
