A woman in Minnesota got enraged when exchanging insurance information for a dent on her vehicle and wasted no time resorting to racial attacks. A video posted on Reddit showed the elderly White woman telling a man, who was obviously there to help, off. She demanded that he leave the space, while a woman behind the camera clarified that he could not leave, as she needed him there to help her. After a few more words were exchanged, the woman began to lament that they had come to her country to stay in free houses and own free cars, paid for by her taxes.
The woman behind the camera tried to educate the racist woman by stating that the country belonged to indigenous natives and that she also paid taxes, probably more than her. However, the “Karen” insisted, “It’s my country. I was born here.” The woman expressed her surprise that something like this could happen in Minnesota and countered when she argued that it was her country because she was born here: “I was too, ma’am.” The man who was trying to help both ladies said the entire exchange was embarrassing and that he did not expect it in 2026. However, the elderly woman had more racist attacks up her sleeves.
When the woman behind the camera spelled out her last name as “Hussain,” for the “Karen” who was writing it out, she made a snarky comment, mockingly saying, “Like the man who blew up the country.”
Social Media Weighs In On The Karen’s Actions
The digital community immediately stormed the comments, describing the woman’s actions as stemming from deep-rooted psychological issues of entitlement. A first commenter wondered what the cause of the behavior displayed in the video was, asking, “Is it me, or is bigotry the root cause of essentially all Karenism?” Another one responded, “Bigotry combined with terminal main character syndrome.” One user suggested a different reason for the woman’s actions: “A steady diet of Fox News and Alex Jones has rotted this grandma’s brain right out of her head.” One user clearly stated that the woman in the video did not represent everyone from Minnesota.
This Redditor wrote of the exchange, “That hurt a little to hear her say, because it sounded like she very sincerely believed it. You have to imagine whatever media bubble she’s isolated herself in has to be just rancid.” One user questioned the woman’s logic, writing, “If that were true, what stops a US citizen from hiding their papers and adopting a fake accent to get a free house and a car?” Another individual pointed out, “A nice illustration of how stereotyping makes you look really, really stupid. The woman filming didn’t even have a foreign accent! Gad, but are this country’s citizens getting stupider?”
Others were more concerned that it was Osama Bin Laden who was responsible for the 9/11 attacks, slamming the woman for her false knowledge. The responses to the clip make it evident that racist behavior is one that the Internet is eager to expose and dissect.
