A woman in California shared a TikTok video of her neighbor’s pro-Trump flag. Seeing it as an opportunity to share her own beliefs and join him in his “political stance,” she erected her own Trump sign, adding that she hopes he isn’t “offended” by it.
Posted by TikTok user Lapheaduh, Laphea, her TikTok video continues to gain attention, due to her sign’s inflammatory nature and message. In her TikTok video, she shows that her neighbor had raised his pro-Trump flag alongside their American flag.
“I thought I would join him in the political stance,” Laphea says. She then reveals her unambiguous anti-Trump sign. “Hope he’s not too offended.” In addition to the sign, Laphea was also seen wearing a shirt featuring imagery of a Ku Klux Klan member hanging from a rope with Confederate-themed elements.
In the caption of Laphea’s video, she wrote, “I’m a nice neighbor I promise.” Of course, Laphea is being facetious and the sign is clearly meant to bother her neighbor. Given the nature of the sign and the response in the comment section of her TikTok video, people were overwhelmingly in support of her, with some hoping for a part two.
People Online Shower Laphea With Praise For Her Anti-Trump TikTok Video
Even with over a thousand comments on Laphea’s TikTok video, there was little pushback. Most of the comments didn’t bother to dispute her anti-Trump sign or rebuke her for being an instigator. “That sign is pure perfection,” one viewer wrote, with another responding that their heart grew “three sizes too big” after seeing the video.
A TikTok user who supported Laphea’s video shared that this kind of protest is what’s needed in the U.S. They wrote, “This is the energy we all need!! Love it, stay strong & safe,” which got a Like from the content creator.
Others were of varying approval, calling Laphea “queen” or saying they loved her or wished she was their neighbor. Many shared that her video made them follow her on TikTok. “Between that and your shirt, I think we’re now best friends,” which also got a Like from Laphea.
One viewer commented that their neighbor also has a 3×6 Trump flag. “It’s in their garage so I don’t see it super often,” they wrote. It seems others online have MAGA neighbors too, as several were wanting to get the very same sign and T-shirt Laphea had in her video.
