An emotional video shared online from an Alabama single mother has gone viral after she opened up about her struggles and feelings of burnout while speaking directly to the camera. The clip has quickly resonated with viewers across social media, sparking a wave of support and discussion about the pressures of parenting and emotional exhaustion.

Let's talk about it.

The video comes from single Alabama mom Kieosha, who goes by @she_a_real_one on TikTok. She typically shares personal, emotional, and lifestyle-focused updates about her daily life and experiences. Her most recent post, however, has gone viral, racking up over 2.4 million views, 539,000 likes, 52,000 comments, and 68,000 shares.

Kieosha opens the video saying, “I can’t wait so we can sit down and have an uncomfortable conversation about women who raise children by themselves in the economy that we live in.” As she continues, her voice begins to break and she becomes visibly emotional, welling up with tears near the end of her remarks.

Going further, she expresses, “How many mothers that actually have to figure out a way to make it in a one parent household with children and just one person to provide.” As her emotions begin to overwhelm her, she describes how hard her life is as a single mother, and the ongoing expenses that she has to deal with. “The birthdays that I have to celebrate by myself, that I orchestrate by myself, with no help from anybody else. Or the holidays where people get lots of gifts and they get celebrated and I don’t get nothing. I’m so tired of making [expletive] happen.”

From pay to rent to her overall feeling of being tired and overwhelmed, Kieosha details her struggles in full, with tears in her eyes. She ends the heartfelt video, saying, “I’m tired of feeling not seen. I’m tired of feeling not heard. I’m tired of [expletive] pretending. I’m tired.“

Internet Reacts to Alabama Mom’s Emotional Viral Video

As the video circulates across social media, viewers quickly took to the comments to share messages of support, empathy, and their own experiences with burnout and parenting struggles. One person on Reddit wrote, “The fact that she can name it is huge, but damn it broke me to hear her say it. I’m sorry the world is the way it is, don’t stop, ma’am.” while another added, “I can’t imagine doing this alone. No one should have to be this scared, no one should have to be this beat down trying to do right by her kids. We’re a disgusting country.”

Meanwhile, on TikTok, one user wrote, “This is BY FAR … the BRAVEST raw emotional post I have seen.. I felt it in my soul.. and wish I could reach through this app to hug you.” A second declared, “And after this breakdown, she gonna pick up and keep going.. which is her point! We always have to keep going“

As the video continues to spread online, it has clearly resonated with many viewers who say it reflects a reality that often goes unspoken.
