A woman in New York shared what her nighttime routine looks like as a homeless person living in her car. She shocked the internet as she showed how she purchased and then slept on a dog bed to make things a bit more comfortable.
TikTok user angel333number333 (Angel) shared a clip of her day online. She often shares her daily life as a homeless woman living in her car, oftentimes garnering significant views. This time around, however, her clip got extremely popular, garnering 2.5 million views, 203,700 likes, and close to 1,400 comments.
To start things off, the New York woman recorded herself at her new job as a laser technician. After sterilizing her pencils, cleaning her laser goggles, and turning off the laser machine, among other things, Angel was ready to head out.
Her next stop was a local PetSmart. Her mission was to find a dog bed to use while sleeping. She revealed that, during the nights, she lies down on her car’s trunk, which is, of course, hard and uncomfortable.
Shocked by the dog bed prices and discouraged by the lack of thickness of some, Angel contemplated abandoning her dog bed shopping task. However, she eventually came across a $29 one that she deemed big enough for her.
“I just need something for my back. My back is starting to hurt,” the New York woman said. “[Expletive] it. We’re taking this one for my dog, aka me.”
Angel loaded up the dog bed and set it up in her car’s trunk. According to her, it fit perfectly, and after wiping off her makeup and brushing her teeth, she eventually lay down and slept in her brand-new dog bed.

The video sparked multiple responses.
A large number of people were shocked by the clip, flabbergasted by the crude reality many have to face daily, including Angel. One viewer commented, “What is the world coming to when someone employed has to live like this? I wish you the best.” Another one said, “I hate capitalism.”
Others suggested alternative solutions to Angel’s trunk sleeping. One person wrote, “Have you tried a camping store? There are even inflatable mattresses designed for car use.” Another one added, “Girl, go to Marshall’s!“
At the end of the day, the dog bed did wonders for Angel. She found it so comfortable that she wondered why she hadn’t gotten one any sooner.
