A man from Chicago, Illinois, has gone viral after a woman sharply responded to him outside an abortion clinic during a filmed confrontation. In the video, the man asks the woman if she regretted having an abortion. She confidently replied “yes”, leaving the man visibly stunned. The moment quickly spread online and sparked major debate about harassment outside abortion clinics and personal privacy.

The video was first uploaded to TikTok by user Juaneliasriesco, where it gained more than one million views along with hundreds of thousands of likes and thousands of comments. The clip later spread to other social media platforms, including Reddit, where it received thousands of upvotes and reactions from users criticizing the man’s behavior and defending the woman.

Juaneliasriesco has openly described himself on TikTok as “a Christian missionary to abortion mills in Chicago.” His account features multiple videos of him outside clinics or in public spaces discussing abortion and religion with strangers. According to viewers familiar with his content, this was not the first time he had approached women leaving clinics to ask them deeply personal questions about abortion.

Several of his videos reportedly show him preaching in the streets of Illinois and arguing with people, many of them women, about abortion and religious beliefs. In past clips, he has described people visiting abortion clinics as vulgar and said they had “darkened hearts” that needed the gospel.

Illinois Internet Backs Woman’s Viral Clapback

The comment section was overwhelmingly supportive of the Illinois woman and highly critical of the man. Many users praised her response as calm, clever, and satisfying while calling his actions invasive, misogynistic, and attention-seeking. Others argued that filming women outside clinics without clear consent crossed a line and amounted to harassment rather than activism.

“He has no idea what could have led to her abortion, and it’s none of his business anyway,” one user wrote. A large portion of the discussion focused on abortion rights and personal autonomy. Many commenters pointed out that strangers do not know the medical, emotional, or financial reasons behind someone’s abortion and argued that those choices should remain private.

Others shared personal stories involving abusive relationships, medical complications, poverty, foster care, and family trauma to explain why forcing unwanted births can have lasting consequences. Some users also discussed volunteering as clinic escorts and described encounters with aggressive anti-abortion protesters outside medical facilities.

The viral clip continues to spread across social media as debate around abortion rights, privacy, and public confrontations outside clinics in Illinois remains highly divisive online.
