A woman was just trying to enjoy the full restaurant experience when she visited a fancy sushi restaurant in Texas. But when she wanted to take photos at the restaurant, she was quickly shot down by employees. However, she quickly found that others were having a different experience than her.
TikToker @blessidaa visited a fancy sushi restaurant in Dallas, Texas, known as Casa Brasa. When she was leaving the restaurant, she started taking photos with her friends. As she was doing so, an employee approached the group and told her that they weren’t allowed to take photos there. However, as she was leaving the restaurant with her friends, she noticed there was a new group of women sitting around and taking photographs at the front of the restaurant. An employee was standing there and didn’t say anything to them about how they weren’t supposed to!
This TikToker, angry with the experience, recorded the employee in question. She tells her audience, “He tells us we can’t take pictures here but they can. They literally sent us out.” The employee tries to explain himself but she cuts him off by saying, “That’s crazy!” While all this is happening, the women taking photographs are watching the whole scene unfold, oblivious to the fact that @blessidaa and her friends weren’t allowed to take photographs at the front of the restaurant.
Commenters quickly flocked to this TikToker’s video. Many commenters responded with outrage over the fact that she and her friends were sent from the restaurant without photos and the hypocrisy they showed her. One commenter stated, “Redownloading Yelp.” Another commenter shared this sentiment by adding, “Currently in bed 2000 miles from this restaurant… my review is about to be NASTY.” Other commenters shared that they were about to make a ton of reservations at the restaurant and not fulfill them. One commenter replied to their plans, “Yeah, some of y’all are thinking small. Don’t just leave two star reviews. Also make reservations so that they are empty for days. That catches Corporate’s attention faster.”
Many commenters continue to come together to show their support to @blessidaa after this incident. They even gave her suggestions on how she could take action after she was treated unfairly. One commenter suggested, “This might be a discrimination case, consult a lawyer.” Commenters came together to show support amidst the outrage, speaking out about bad business practices.
