An Arkansas woman went viral after posting a TikTok video in which she panics over a snake lounging on the wall of her house. In the video, a black snake can be seen lounging over the top of a porch light by her front door. The video has over 136,000 views and over 5,000 likes.
The Arkansas woman explains that she was simply walking out of her front door when something strange caught her eye. No, it wasn’t the snake. She noticed, in the corner, a round white object. Her first thought was, “Oh, is that an egg?” If you look carefully in the video, you can see a bird nest underneath where the snake is lounging. The assumption is that it was going for a little snack. The woman explains that when she looked up from where the egg was, that’s when she noticed the black snake lounging on top of the light.
That’s when the panic set in for her. She shares, “Oh my gosh! I just had a heart attack [when] I looked up!” When she first noticed the snake, she was actually closer to it than the video shows. She was standing on her front step. Her panic is why she captioned the video, “I about met the Lord on the Holy Day.” Many in the comments have been offering her words of support and sympathy.
Everyone Is Freaking Out With Arkansas Woman
Several have taken to the comments, sharing their shared distress over the snake sighting. One person says, “Burn it down! Now!” Others agree with this statement by sharing pictures of fire. Another says, “Jenn, burn the house down … omg I would die.” Another commenter asks, “Is it normal to have nope ropes as pull strings to turn your outdoor lights on?” According to the woman, this is an unfortunate reality when living in Arkansas.
Others are commenting on how they’d move away and suggest she take their advice. One says, “I would have to move and just start my life over.” Another says, “Hello, Jake the realtor? I need you to list my house TODAY.” However, one commenter came to the snake’s defense, saying everyone should have a little sympathy: “He dropped his breakfast, and you’re all making fun of him.”
The Arkansas woman assures that the snake was unharmed and was relocated before she went back into the house.
