A woman claims she and her friends were racially profiled by a Karen manager when they were visiting Marval Resort in Gore, Oklahoma. She claims the manager accused them of stealing before giving them an ultimatum to either be chaperoned or leave.
The video posted to TikTok shows a heated argument between her friend’s mom and the manager, who says, “Okay, so don’t say that’s not what they’re saying to me. You just said that.” The situation escalates when the woman asks to explain the situation. The manager tells her no, “You’re not of age.” She argues, “I am of age. Don’t do that.” She’s then told, “Get packed up and go.” The video has over 51,000 views. A follow-up video explaining the situation has been posted.
When they first arrived at the Oklahoma resort, she explains, “the vibes were already weird.” The incident on video supposedly began when she and her friends discovered an engraved softball. They chose to turn it in to the manager. The woman claims the manager started accusing them of stealing, saying, “Who knows what they’re doing when no one’s watching.”
When retelling the story, the woman says, “I’m getting so mad right now.” Her friend’s mother had previously spoken to the manager and thought the situation was resolved. However, she claims that the Oklahoma manager pulled up to their cabin and immediately started yelling at her friend’s mom. She explains that in the video, she “tried to step in and tell her what really happened.” She claims the manager gave them an ultimatum: either the mother chaperones the entire trip (they’re all 18+) or they have to leave.
