A man in Louisiana is facing backlash online after a video showed him harassing two Mormon missionaries and directing racial slurs toward them during a confrontation.
In the video, the man filmed one of the missionaries while he was kneeling on the ground gathering his belongings. The man repeatedly cursed at him and directed the n-word toward him. He also appeared to make threats during the confrontation, saying, “I will beat the [expletive] out of you, [expletive].”
The video continued with the man repeatedly cursing and using the same racial slur toward the missionary. The missionary responded by remaining silent and continuing to gather his belongings. The man then made additional threats, saying, “I will kick you in your [expletive] nose.” He later added, “You lucky Jesus saved your [expletive] today.”
As the man continued insulting the missionary, the missionary picked up a bicycle that appeared to be damaged. It is unclear from the video how the bike was broken or whether the man had any involvement in the damage. The man, however, mocked the missionaries and repeatedly told him to carry the bike. “Carry that [expletive],” he said.
The two missionaries then began walking away with their bicycles, while the man continued following them and directing insults and racial slurs at them. At one point, a passing car honked its horn, prompting the man to encourage the driver to honk at the missionaries again as they continued to leave the area.
The man then began making comments about the missionaries’ race, referring to them as “little White [expletive].” He also stated that he was not afraid of them. The remainder of the video showed him following the two missionaries as they walked away while continuing to insult them and call them names. The footage ended without showing what happened afterward, and no additional details were provided.
Viewers Outraged After Louisiana Man Harasses Mormon Missionaries
The video sparked reactions online. Many viewers expressed outrage after seeing how the Louisiana man treated the Mormon missionaries, leading to significant backlash online. “How insufferable,” one person wrote. Another person said, “Imagine posting this video thinking that you are in the right of this situation. The missionary is commendable for keeping it composed. I really hope the video guy didn’t smash up the bike.”
More viewers criticized the man’s behavior. One person wrote, “What an absolute [expletive]. Bully. And you know these guys are probably going to pray for him and try to do right by him in their hearts, including forgiveness, etc. Vile, morally defunct fool.” Another person said, “I hope he feels better about himself [expletive] someone out that he knows won’t or isn’t supposed to fight back. I dislike any group that go door to door but for real he has weak [expletive] energy trying to pretend to be strong.”
The video sparked discussion about how people treat others who hold different religious beliefs and backgrounds. It also led to broader conversations about respect, tolerance, and the importance of treating others with civility, even during disagreements.
