According to some business owners, there’s almost no one willing to take shifts at certain establishments, ranging from normal coffee shop jobs to even some that range in the six figures.
Among the factors affecting this, it seems that the working population is one, as several are college students seeking short shifts, meaning some businesses are losing time and money trying to rearrange shifts to accommodate employees. On the other hand, the better-paying jobs also struggle because they can’t find people willing to move to Wyoming. Some believe that the housing situation isn’t great, and it has become pretty expensive for outsiders looking to make a living here.
And while business owners have said the above, citizens have other thoughts, claiming that some jobs aren’t worth taking, especially since the cost of living is too high for some, which has prompted some to consider leaving Wyoming for good.
