A woman who owns a Tennessee bakery helped her little sister and stepson open a weekend lemonade stand. When they did so, they were shocked to find out that a neighbor called the cops on them. Luckily, when cops arrived, they did something that surprised everyone!
Chloe (@giantcookielady) shared a TikTok after something bewildering happened to her and her family. Over the weekend, she used her food truck to help her little sister and stepson to set up a lemonade stand. Why were they doing it? They were trying to use the funds to donate to brain cancer research. This is an awesome thing for two little kids to do! But an angry Karen neighbor couldn’t stand to see the family have their own success. So, she called the police on their stand.
Chloe tells her audience about what the neighbor did and then says, “Wild take!” She pans over to a picture of Chloe standing outside her cookie truck with the two police officers, both of whom have lemonade cups in their hands. She announces to her audience, “So, they love our lemonade! They literally loved our lemonade. They had a great time.”
Chloe continues to tell her audience that her little sister lost her mom to brain cancer. That’s why she was trying to raise funds with her lemonade stand for brain cancer research. She says that her sister and stepson are “little entrepreneur naturals” and clearly feels anger and animosity over a neighbor doing such a thing to children. She continues on, telling the Karen neighbor personally that her sister and stepson are also in the running for the “nicest booth” in an online competition. Chloe ends her video by stating, “Have the life you deserve!”
The video immediately started sparking online reactions from commenters. Many of them took Chloe’s side and were in disbelief over how her neighbor acted toward children. As one commenter stated, “I hope their bedsheets are ITCHY all night.” Another asked in surprise, “Who calls the cops on a lemonade stand??”
Other commenters who follow Chloe and her business online said the competition for the best booth ended. One congratulated Chloe and her little family: “The city posted a few minutes ago! Y’all won by a landslide!!!!” Commenters continue to show support for Chloe and her family.
