A New York woman was just trying to enjoy a day out with her mother at a restaurant. However, she was unable to find peace and quiet when an angry Karen approached her. The woman accused her of intentionally taking her parking spot and wasn’t about to let it go.
Marie (@mulan_marie) posted an interaction she had with an angry woman when she took her parking spot. As Marie sat with her mom looking at a menu, the Karen approached her table to call her out. While the woman is explaining what happened, Marie’s mom turns around and continues looking at the menu, letting her daughter handle it. The woman tells Marie, “I was waiting for that parking spot” but Marie cuts her off by stating, “I couldn’t tell. You were hesitating. I saw the parking spot and went in.”
Clearly agitated, the woman tells Marie that she was going to take that specific spot. She tries to defend herself and tells Marie, “I wasn’t hesitating.” Marie questions why she came all the way over to the table to tell them this. She asks her, “Okay… What do you want to happen now?” When the Karen starts talking, Marie says, “I don’t care!” At this point, Marie’s mother is laughing loudly as her daughter defends herself against this woman’s audacity.
The video immediately sparked reactions from commenters, many of whom were on Marie’s side. Several commenters quipped about Marie’s mother and how she sat back to let her daughter take charge in this situation. One commenter stated, “Mama said, ‘you got this, let me look at what I’m about to order.’” Another commenter hilariously noted, “The way mama turned around like chile.” As one commenter mentioned, “This conversation is going nowhere. She isn’t getting the parking spot back.”
Commenters continue to react to the video and share their opinions on how the situation was handled. The video raises questions about how many people hang on to things in a dramatic manner.
