A Missouri man’s video of a confrontation aboard a city bus is drawing attention after one passenger erupted at a woman who seemingly blocked the vehicle from moving because she couldn’t afford the fare. While many viewers applauded the outburst, others felt the woman deserved more empathy than anger.
Posted to TikTok by user @fattboyjr57, the clip shows a woman standing in front of the bus as another passenger shouts at her from inside.”Get out the way. Because I need to get home,” the Missouri woman yells. “You don’t have the money. It’s not his fault.”
The woman continues urging the person blocking the bus to move before asking the driver to let her off so she could handle the situation herself. “Let me off the bus, so I can snatch this [expletive] because it’s hot enough and I’m in the mood.” The clip cuts off before viewers learn whether the woman ever moved or if anyone ultimately intervened.

The comment section largely sided with the frustrated bus rider, with many saying they would have reacted the same way after being delayed. “I’d be just as mad. Why is she just standing there??” one commenter wrote. Others praised the passenger for speaking up. “I’d have let her off the bus AND waited for her to get back on, would not be leaving that queen for the next bus,” another added.
Some viewers were more focused on the logistics of the situation, questioning how the woman outside the bus was able to stop it from moving in the first place. “The bus don’t reverse?” one person asked.
Not everyone agreed with how the confrontation was handled, however. Some felt someone could have simply helped the woman instead of yelling at her. “God where is the kindness of this world,” one commenter wrote. “Why not pay it forward.
