West Virginia Rep. Riley Moore shared a post on X about reports claiming China gave Iran targeting info for attacks on U.S. forces. He called out the CCP for espionage and other moves against America, and said he’s pushing the Stop CCP Visas Act to stop issuing student visas that train the next generation of CCP leaders. The post and video have sparked a lot of debate online, with people arguing over U.S. foreign policy.

New reports suggest China is providing Iran with targeting information used to attack our forces.

The CCP is already undermining America through espionage, influence campaigns, and data theft.

They're our adversary.

In the clip, Moore appears on Fox News discussing the deaths of two U.S. service members in Jordan. He states that “the precision at which they were able to strike sensitive targets within Jordan” and that “the reporting is indicating that perhaps China or Russia was feeding them targeting information.”

He adds, “Now, we need to get to the bottom of that,” and continues, “China is our adversary. We need to make this very, very clear. This is one of the reasons last year I introduced a bill to eliminate all student visas for China. Why are we training and educating our enemies to work then to destroy us? It doesn’t make any sense at all.”

The video focuses on his on-air comments and does not show the underlying intelligence reports or the incident in Jordan itself.

Moore’s Warning on CCP Draws Sharp Replies

Some users pointed to what they saw as inconsistency in U.S. policy, with one asking, “Doesn’t the US do that for Ukraine,” and another writing, “Who cares. We arm and give targeting information to Ukraine. We arm Taiwan… ‘what’s good for the goose…’”

Others linked the issue to Israel, including a comment that “It’s kinda funny how all this works and ties directly to Israel” and another stating, “I didn’t know AIPAC is Chinese.”

A different set of replies expressed support for treating China as an adversary or skepticism that the bill would advance, with one noting, “Too bad most Congressional members are bought by the CCP. Won’t even make it out of committee.”

Some also referenced recent statements about Chinese student visas under the current administration, with one writing, “Trump literally just agreed to allow 200,000 Chinese students to come over, ALL OF YOU ARE LYING.”

For now, the post and interview clip have become part of broader online exchanges about U.S. policy toward China, Iran, and visa restrictions. Discussion continues over how to address reported foreign assistance in regional conflicts and long-standing national security concerns.
