Randomly assaulting someone on the street is not bound to end well, and sadly for one man in Las Vegas, this has been proven to be true once more. The unnamed assailant decided he wanted to attack a freestyle rapper on the sidewalk, only to tear up his knee ligaments while trying to lunge at the rapper, effectively losing the fight he started. To make matters worse, the man he tried to assault was not only lucky, but also highly creative and began rapping about his humiliating defeat on the spot.

The incident took place over the weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada. TikTok user and freestyle rapper King Trot was apparently just minding his own business and busking or freestyle rapping on the street as he was known for in the past. The video doesn’t exactly show the alleged assault in progress, but it opens up with the rapper already spitting out his diss track against his assailant, who tore his ACL while trying to attack.

“He ain’t going to jail, he going in the ambulance,” says King Trot. “Homie tried to push me and failed, and tore his whole [expletive] ACL!” he raps further as the ambulance tries to load the assailant on the stretcher. “He tore his knee ch-ch-ch-ch, he tore his knee trying to mess with me,” as the rapper transitions into a rather catchy chorus, drawing the attention of the onlookers.

It’s not clear what exactly the assailant’s reason was for trying to attack and push the rapper, but he apparently tried to challenge the rapper even from across the street. King Trot also couldn’t help but praise the paramedics for their quick response, though that kind of medical assistance is expected to be costly, especially in Las Vegas.

People online are calling the diss track diabolical

King Trot’s rather rare and comedic encounter has since gone viral with millions of views across multiple social media sites. This isn’t exactly the first time the freestyle rapper was present in opportune moments and made a lightning-quick freestyle rap about it. In the past, he has witnessed arrests happening in front of him, leading to his famous “going to jail tonight” rap.

This time around, the tune has changed, and it appears bizarre social incidents keep finding the freestyle rapper. People online have also praised King Trot for how he handled the supposed assault against him, “Worst part bout it, he had to sit there n soak all this in,” points out one commenter. “Ain’t no way you made a diss track in front of him,” laughs one commenter in disbelief.

For some reason, other TikTok users have also accused the assailant of racism, writing “Racism is Expensive!!!!ayeeeee” though it’s not clear whether the attack was racially motivated or not. In any case, some users explained they’d rather perish instead of face such an embarrassing self-own, “This is literally worst case scenario. I’d rather die.”
