A North Carolina woman was entirely fed up when people kept parking on her property. Soon, she found out why it was happening. The neighbor was allowing her friends and family to park in the yard that she doesn’t even own. All of this led to a confrontation and a police call that left this woman feeling frustrated and angry.

Shannon (@shannon_olivia) recorded a video of what happened when she finally called out her neighbor for her ridiculous overstepping. Shannon stated, “My neighbor keeps allowing her company to park in my yard” without her permission. In Shannon’s video, you can clearly see a vehicle that doesn’t belong to her parked in her yard, in her grass. Her neighbor only has street parking, so they rudely allowed their visitors to park in Shannon’s grass.

Shannon was finally fed up with strangers parking on her property just so they could visit her neighbor. She asks the owner of the vehicle now parked in her yard, “You think it’s okay to park in other people’s yards?” They apologize and run to their vehicle so they can move it. Shannon states, “It’s not no sorry. It’s not your yard. There’s no way you thought it was okay to park in someone else’s yard.” She instructs them to leave her yard, and the driver starts their vehicle, ready to pull away.

Shannon zooms in on her neighbor, who is coming out of her house to watch the commotion her actions started. Shannon yells, “She knows better! Always her and her company. Always the same people.” Her neighbor angrily looks Shannon’s way and then greets some officers who start walking up over the hill. It turns out, Shannon’s neighbor called the cops on Shannon due to the confrontation that started before the video. The video ends there, so we don’t know what officers said to Shannon or how they handled it. However, Shannon did add what happened in the caption of her video. She said, “they called the police on me and I had to go to court.”

Commenters immediately reacted to Shannon’s video, with many agreeing that Shannon was in the right when it came to this situation. One commenter stated, “Parking completely in the MIDDLE of your neighbor’s yard is nasty and rude!” Another added, “How are you going to park on somebody’s literal grass? That’s diabolical.” Others offered suggestions on how they would handle it. One commenter stated simply: “Girl don’t argue, just get them towed.” Another added, “Start calling the tow truck, not the police. Now they have to go in their pockets to get their vehicle back.”
