Washington Senator Patty Murray posted a video to a social media platform in which she reacted to a poster Tommy Tuberville had on the Senate floor that read, “Social Security is a scam.” People largely supported Social Security, while others argued with Murray and wondered why she doesn’t create a program to fight this belief, given that the program faces insolvency.
The video above features Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville standing next to a sign that reads, “Social Security is a scam.” Concerning the topic, he can be heard saying, “Stop this Social Security scam. It’s a big, gigantic, blown-up Ponzi scheme.”

She then claims that the topic of Social Security is hot amongsy campaigners this election year. In fact, she says that this year is “the Social Security election.”
