A Wisconsin couple was caught stealing from a store before kicking the shop’s door and attacking employees when confronted.
The incident took place at a smoke shop in Milwaukee, where a man and woman carrying a baby entered the store and stole items. When employees confronted them, they appeared to lock the door to prevent the couple from leaving. An employee then told the man that they could either return the items or wait for police to arrive. The man responded that they would wait for the police.
“We ain’t playing,” the employee told the couple when they continued refusing to return the items they stole. The employee then pointed out that the store had security cameras and said they would not allow the couple to leave before police arrived. The video then included another clip that appeared to show the couple taking items from inside the store.
The man then began cursing at the employees and demanded that they let his partner, who was holding a baby, out of the store. He warned that he would kick the door if they refused to open it. When the employees continued refusing to unlock the door, the man began kicking it until he managed to force it open.
After getting out of the store, the couple exited the building and headed toward their car. An employee followed them while continuing to film and repeatedly accused them of stealing. The man then appeared to confront and attack the employee before throwing an unidentified object from the vehicle in his direction. It was unclear what the object was or whether it caused any injuries.
The employee continued filming the couple’s license plate before striking the vehicle’s window and body as they began driving away with the allegedly stolen items. The man briefly stopped the car, picked up another unidentified object, and appeared to throw it at the employee again. As of now, it is unclear whether the couple has been identified or whether any arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
Viewers Attack Wisconsin Couple Over Store Theft
The video sparked reactions online. Many viewers criticized the Wisconsin couple over the theft and confrontation with the store employees. Their behavior led some commenters to call for them to face legal consequences. “Looks like assault charges can be added. I’m so sick and tired of people like this,” one person wrote. Another commenter said, “These are the kinds of people having babies. That’s all we’re going to be dealing with soon.”
More viewers criticized the couple and speculated about the potential charges they could face. “He used force and fear, also it may be burglary since he broke the door to facilitate a theft crime,” one person wrote. Another commenter said, “I lived in the Milwaukee area in the late 1970s and early 80s. This [expletive] never happened then.”
The video sparked a conversation about the importance of stores documenting thefts and maintaining security footage that can help identify those involved and provide evidence to law enforcement. It also led to broader discussion about the dangers of involving young children in criminal activity and the responsibility parents have to keep their children away from potentially dangerous situations.
