Posting to Reddit’s r/whatdoIdo, user Bubbly_wander has reason to believe her girlfriend’s younger teen sister had tampered with her hair conditioner. “My scalp was burning in a way it never does from any hair products besides maybe… bleach,” Bubbly recalled.
Another reason Bubbly was certain her conditioner had bleach in it was that her bathroom was filled with a “pungent odor,” which wasn’t the case prior. “It seemed to be making my hair fall out too…. like a lot,” she added. “I admit I usually shed a bit in the shower but it’s never really been….. like this.” For context, Bubbly says this sister isn’t a resident of her home but does often stop and share the same bathroom as her.
Besides some minor drama over her pet, Bubbly says she can’t think of any particular reasons why her partner’s teen sister would do this. No one else could have tampered with the conditioner besides her, after all. Even with limited evidence, hundreds of Redditors sided with Bubbly, with many scheming on how to deal with the situation.

“If your conditioner is being messed with I’d worry about your toothbrush and other tolietries too. Even your food,” remarked a commenter. “You’d better be pretty sure because there is no coming back from this regarding your relationships,” added another. Many people were urging Bubbly to get the police involved since this incident could be categorized as battery or assault.
“People like this terrify me honestly,” exclaimed a fourth person. “I would call the police with 0 concern for how this could impact my relationship/living situation/whatever,” remarked a fifth.
In the comments, the Colorado woman did clarify several things, one of which was that she and her partner were suspecting “some kind of HAIR bleach,” not bleach used for cleaning. Also, while she claims to have never had an issue with the conditioner before, one person pointed out a lawsuit that happened against OGX in the past over hair loss caused by the product.
In the end, the most upvoted comment was someone suggesting the teen sister added Nair hair removal to the conditioner, not bleach.
