They shouldn’t act like this

A mother in Texas is facing backlash after sharing a video in which she encouraged her young daughters to curse and make inappropriate gestures.

The mother’s video showed her two daughters on their first day of school in their new grade. The video began with one of the girls cursing and saying, “Don’t [expletive] with me.” Rather than reprimanding her, the mother simply laughed. A young boy then appeared in the frame and began cursing as well.

The mother then revealed that her two daughters were starting fourth and first grade. Their young ages added to the criticism surrounding their behavior in the video. One of the girls then made the “clock it” gesture, which some viewers associated with adult behavior. The two girls also showed off their large necklaces, which viewers similarly considered more commonly associated with adults. The younger girl then said, “You can’t meet with my team,” with viewers also criticizing the language she used as inappropriate for her age.

The video continued with the mother herself cursing in front of her daughters as they laughed. The two girls then began doing poses on the ground that viewers also considered inappropriate for their age. Following this, the mother had her daughters walk toward the camera as if they were on a catwalk. The youngest girl then proceeded to give the middle finger to the camera.

Another part of the video showed the two girls inside a car with their mother as they danced to a rap song containing expletives. The youngest girl then raised both middle fingers while dancing. The video ended on a more wholesome note as the sisters kissed each other and said goodbye before heading to their respective classes. However, as the mother faced backlash over her daughters’ behavior, she eventually turned off the comments on the video.

Viewers Outraged Over Video of Texas Mom and Her Daughters

The video sparked reactions online. Many viewers expressed outrage after seeing the video the Texas mother shared of her daughters. Some argued that she should not encourage the girls to curse or behave in ways they considered inappropriate for their age. “Sadly in a couple years they will just add to the crime statistics as they are culled by their own herd. What horrible parents,” one person wrote. Another commenter criticized several aspects of the video, saying, “Bouncing around in back seat with no seat belt, garbage music, letting them curse. It only gets worse from here. When they do crimes in future the mother will not be held responsible. But let a white kid commit a crime and the parents go to jail.”

More viewers continued criticizing the mother, particularly over the footage showing her daughters dancing inside the car. “Pretty sure that car ride was child endangerment and needs to be investigated properly,” one person wrote. Another commenter said, “Child abuse. Someone send CPS that video of them in a moving car with no seat belts.” Someone else added, “Poor baby in the car wants no part of that [expletive]. And I bet neither did the other two when they were her age. But their [expletive] mom forced it on them. Pure child abuse. Deliberately [expletive] your kids up for life.”

The video sparked a broader conversation about how parents should raise their children to be respectful rather than encouraging them to curse or behave inappropriately. It also led to debate over whether exposing young children to such behavior should be considered a form of child abuse, particularly when they may be too young to fully understand the implications of their actions.
