An Alabama woman was shopping in a children’s clothing store when she noticed a man in the aisle with her. After a few moments, she realized something didn’t seem right and set her camera up. Playing it back, she noticed something particularly nefarious: The man was filming up the skirt of her dress!
TikToker @mommyshark479 recently made Alabama news after a “vouyerism” incident involving a peeping tom in a children’s store. She shared her story on her personal TikTok before it went viral on several news outlets. When she was shopping at a children’s clothing store in Madison, Alabama, this mom had a bad feeling. A man was seemingly following her down the aisles of the store. So, she set up her camera to record him.
What she discovered was incredibly disturbing: She had multiple photos of him sticking his phone under her dress and recording up her skirt! This TikToker took her phone into the next aisle, where she called 911 and explained what happened to her. She, of course, had plenty of video evidence in hand!
But then, @mommyshark479 noticed that the man was trying to leave the store with private photos of her on his phone. She followed him out of the store and through the parking lot but he got away. Eventually, she says police showed up and were able to chase him down at a local restaurant. He was hiding inside and they arrested him. Unfortunately for her, the arrest didn’t last long. After two hours, he was already released from prison. She says he has “previous arrests for prowling” and was shocked that they let him off the hook.
Now, this TikToker is sharing her story as a way to warn others about what she experienced during this frightening situation. She tells her audience, “I’m sharing this to remind women to trust your gut and always be aware of your surroundings.” Now, she’s been speaking out in the media about what happened to her and how the law needs to take instances like this seriously. Because, as she says, “Recording up women’s skirts… Is horrific.”
The video immediately sparked attention from viewers who were absolutely astounded by her story and what she faced in that store.
