In the clip, State Rep. Angie Nixon said she has a proven track record of fighting authoritarian governments and that people should not let her recent affiliation with the DSA sway or scare them.

She continues that she has always been about fighting against bigotry and for hard-working people, adding that it is time to send a bold, unapologetic fighter to Washington, D.C., to really stand up against Donald Trump.

According to the accompanying post text, the remarks highlight that Democrats have no real plan to help the American people and want to stop President Trump. The video does not show the full context of the discussion before or after the highlighted portion.

Some users focused on the absence of other proposals, with one writing, “Fighting Trump is all they have got. They do NOT want to make the lives of Americans better with their policies.”

Another commented, “They have nothing else,” while a third said, “They are all saying that. They have no plans, no ideas, and no goals. Just hate Trump.”

Others questioned the approach in Florida, noting, “Most Floridians voted for Donald Trump, so this is a bad strategy,” and “Florida has how many millions of people, and this is the best they can do for a U.S. Senate candidate?”
